At the Spanish and Maya Language Center at the Zapatista Rebel Autonomous Secondary School In Caracol II, Oventic in the highlands of Chiapas. The school is an autonomous education project built with its own resources and the solidarity of national and international civil society. Your contribution for classes and activities helps support the 120 Zapatista youth living and studying in Oventic.
The Language Center is a space for exchange and communication with diverse peoples and cultures of the world. classes are offered in a context of the reality of the indigenous people in resistance.. Those who share the Zapatista’s ideal of Justice, Liberty and Democracy for all, in accordance with the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandón Jungle, are invited to spend one week or more at the center.
